Our New Construction Process
We start with a plan review and Manual J load calculation to size your heating and cooling equipment properly for the square footage, insulation levels, and window placement of your build. Oversized equipment wastes energy, and undersized systems cannot keep up with a Duluth winter — so getting the numbers right matters.
During rough-in, we install all ductwork, plumbing supply and drain lines, gas piping, and ventilation runs before the walls close up. After drywall, we come back for trim-out — connecting fixtures, hooking up equipment, and testing everything. We coordinate directly with your builder to stay on schedule and pass inspections the first time.

Equipment We Install on New Builds
We carry Carrier, Lennox, and Daikin furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps — all rated for northern climates. For plumbing, we use PEX and copper supply lines and PVC drain systems that meet current code requirements. We also install tankless and standard water heaters, whole-home humidifiers, HRV ventilation systems, and in-floor radiant heating.
