Responsibilities

• Run scheduled in-home sales appointments
• Meet professionally with homeowners and determine their needs
• Evaluate existing residential HVAC and plumbing equipment
• Gather accurate information needed to properly quote the project
• Build and present clear replacement and upgrade options
• Explain equipment differences, efficiency, warranties, financing, and available options
• Help customers make informed decisions without using high-pressure sales tactics
• Follow up on open estimates and unsold opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer, estimate, and sales information in ServiceTitan
• Communicate sold-job information clearly to our installation and office teams
• Maintain strong communication with customers from the initial appointment through the sales handoff
• Represent Advantage Air professionally in the customer’s home and throughout our service area

Experience Required

Previous in-home sales experience in residential HVAC, plumbing or home services is required.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is comfortable discussing larger-ticket purchases with homeowners
• Understands residential HVAC and/or plumbing systems
• Can confidently present multiple options instead of simply giving one price
• Has strong closing and follow-up skills
• Communicates professionally and clearly
• Is organized and capable of managing multiple open opportunities
• Is comfortable using tablets, computers, and sales software
• Understands that successful sales require both technical knowledge and excellent customer service
• Can work independently while still being part of a larger team

Additional training will be available to help the right person continue developing their technical knowledge, sales skills, and earning potential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Schedule HVAC, plumbing, and sewer cleaning service appointments.
• Gather accurate customer information and service requests.
• Enter customer information and appointments into our scheduling software.
• Assist customers with general questions about our services.
• Communicate with dispatch and office staff regarding scheduling needs.
• Help coordinate service calls and technician availability.
• Take detailed messages and ensure proper follow-up.
• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Provide a positive and professional experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to multitask in a busy office environment.

• Previous customer service, receptionist, or office experience preferred.
• HVAC or plumbing industry experience is helpful but not required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming equipment and materials.
• Load and unload HVAC and plumbing equipment, including heavy items.
• Deliver equipment, parts, and supplies to job sites.
• Pick up materials and equipment from local suppliers.
• Organize inventory, shelving, and storage areas.
• Prepare equipment and materials for upcoming installations.
• Assist with inventory tracking and identifying materials that need to be reordered.
• Keep warehouse and delivery areas clean and free of clutter.
• Assist installation and service teams with material preparation as needed.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance and other assigned daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment and materials, with appropriate assistance or equipment when needed.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to learn about HVAC and plumbing equipment and materials.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, construction, or trade experience is preferred but not required.
