Common questions
For a lot of houses around here, a 70,000 BTU single-stage Lennox does the job. It's the furnace in our $4,995 offer. A bigger or draftier house can need more, and we size it before we quote.
Merit is Lennox's standard line. Elite is quieter, and some units have a low setting. Signature is the top of the line. The series isn't an efficiency rating, though: the Merit ML297V is 97% efficient and the Signature SL280V is 80%.
Our offer starts at $4,995 for a 70,000 BTU single-stage furnace going in where the old one was. If something about your house changes the price, you'll hear it before we start.
The cold-climate ones do. Lennox rates the SL22KLV to keep heating down to -20°F. On the coldest nights a gas furnace can back it up.
The SLP99V, at up to 99% AFUE. It's a modulating furnace in the Signature line.
Maybe. Models marked Rebate eligible are ENERGY STAR certified for our region, which is what most utility programs look for. Consult with your comfort advisor regarding rebates.
